Juniors

At Waipu Golf Club we have a strong strategy for developing junior golf.  Free Coaching is available most Sundays at 2.30pm to junior boys and girls who wish to learn the fundamentals of the game. 
Best to call the Golfshop onSunday morning 09 432 0259 as weather and tournaments can on occassion change these plans.
Once a level of skill is acquired a true golf handicap can be achieved. If a junior starts at around 12 years old, in 4 years they could well be very skilful players. Presently we have 4 juniors below an 8 handicap.   We have a number of junior golfers ranging in age from 5 to 18.

The Top of the Harbour Junior Open will be held during the next school holidays, Monday 15th July 2013. For more information and entry form see below.
The following Monday a club day is planned where club competitions will be scheduled.
