Long Par 5. Elevated tee with spectacular views of the Bay but this hole can be brutally long into a stiff on-shore breeze. A rolling fairway with a few Pohutakawa trees down the right and some treacherous rough to the left. Avoid at all costs the “Mountain” to the right of the fairway that can be a magnet for 2nd shots. The fairway drops sharply and somewhat fore-shortens the flat, narrow approach to the green protected by bunkers front left and back right.
